Chucha Barber is a 2021 Silver Circle Honoree by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Suncoast Chapter. Recognizing 25 years of industry excellence.
Chucha Barber has developed Emmy-award winning television programs and educational videos for more than 25 years. She has been Executive Producer of more than 25 documentaries produced in partnership with network-owned stations. Programs she has produced have aired on NBC, CBS, ABC, Univision and Telemundo stations. Additional awards include “Marketer of the Year” from the American Marketing Association, “Innovator of the Year” from the Florida Museums Association and winner of the highest regional award for promoting tourism as economic development, “The Tommy.” Her recent community affiliations include Commissioner for Volunteer Florida, Chair of the Volunteer Florida Foundation, Chair of the Community Cultural Plan Advisory Board, and Co-Chair of the 2017 Heart Ball for the National Heart Association.

UNFILTERED: The Truth About Oysters is a documentary film that explores the oyster’s role both in our world and its own. Ashore, oysters are a beloved delicacy, a commodity driving a robust market, and a way of life for generations of people. Below the waves, oysters are a keystone species that filter vast volumes of water and engineer the foundation for entire ecosystems in bays and estuaries across the world.
Spirit of Miami Trailer
The television program SPIRIT OF MIAMI tells the history of car racing in Miami and honors Ralph Sanchez, his tenacity, vision, commitment to excellence, his passion and his contributions to Miami history and the industry he loved.
Having had the privilege of working for Ralph at Miami Motorsports, the journey to produce the program has been sentimental, emotional and magical, feeling like Ralph continues to make great things happen. The Program has aired on Miami’s NBC6 station and Telemundo 51.
Journey Home
Scheduled for television distribution throughout Florida in April 2021, Journey Home is the story of resilience and recovery. It is a testament to the commitment of The Lauren’s Kids Foundation and AshBritt Environmental to rebuild the therapy center Hurricane Michael destroyed in Panama City for the benefit of sexual abuse survivors.
